nexGear NPM-1000 Processing Module
The nexGear NPM-1000 Processing Module is comprised of an FPGA-based image processing and enhancement solution. The nexGear software applications, designed to run on the nexGear Processing Module, exceed the ever increasing demands of video processing and production applications. The nexGear product line offers a number of unique and innovative features including artifact and compression noise reduction, bandwidth reduction, frame synchronization, up-conversion and down-conversion.
In addition, compatibility with the open-architecture openGear frame and control system allows broadcast professionals the freedom and flexibility to choose the best solution for their particular application. Up to eight nexGear cards can be housed in the openGear frame. All applications are controlled by the easy-to-use openGear Dashboard.
