Universal Format Converter & Frame Synchronizer
With Standards Conversion Capability
The Teranex VC100 Universal frame synchronizer and format converter is packed with Teranex's proprietary and patented technology yielding unsurpassed flexibility and image processing quality. When first introduced, the VC100 set a new standard for performance and integration in frame synchronizers and was the culmination of many years of development and image processing know-how gained at Teranex. Continuous product development has added support for over 250 format conversions and 3D stereoscopic processing applications.

The Teranex VC100 universal frame synchronizer and format converter includes, as standard features, extremely high quality de-interlacing, up conversion, down conversion, SD and HD cross conversion, SD and HD standards conversion, automatic cadence detection and removal even with edited content, noise reduction, adjustable scaling, aspect ratio conversion and smart aspect ratio 4:3 to 16:9 conversion, all with full timecode and multi-channel audio conversion. Also included are 3D dual channel conversions, new patent pending 3D simulation and the forthcoming 3D toolkit for matching cameras in 3D rigs for perfect alignment. The VC100 is at home in both post production and broadcast facilities and is an essential addition to any facility desiring the highest quality format conversions.
